Our Story
The Singapore Sri Lanka Business Association (SLBA) was established in 1991 by a group of professionals, initially focused on promoting business between Singapore and Sri Lanka.
Over time, we have grown with a broader mandate to serve our community and uplift Sri Lanka globally.
We are a non-profit organisation registered under the Singapore Registry of Societies, dedicated to fostering meaningful collaboration, sharing expertise, and creating cross-border opportunities.
Our mandate is to support bilateral trade, investment, and professional exchange, while empowering not only the Sri Lankan diaspora in Singapore but also individuals and organisations based in Sri Lanka or anyone with a genuine interest in the country to contribute to its economic and social development.
SLBA is a non-political and inclusive organisation built on integrity, professionalism, and service to the community. We exist to connect people, open opportunities, and create lasting impact for Sri Lanka’s global presence.
