And that’s a wrap! Our very first Pitch Party for female led startups from Sri Lanka in Singapore was a resounding success and a big ‘thank you’ to all those who attended – the energy and excitement of the evening made this a very special event and an unforgettable experience for all our female founders.
Lakmini Weerakkody, founder of LakNature is the Singapore Sri Lanka Business Association’s first Woman Entrepreneur of the Year with the social impact of her business winning over the judging team. It was a close finish thanks to the amazing work showcased by all our finalists and a meaningful 2-day trip to Singapore for them to meet potential investors, business partners and see the bigger opportunities that lie in store for them. We are proud of each and every one of our entrepreneurs and look forward to many more initiatives such as this.
